Hangul romaji for windows
At the bottom, click the third button from the left with an A next to it Apply. At the bottom, click the first button from the left OK. After this, I could select "1-Hiragana". If you don't have a Japanese keyboard, you can set the "Input Method" to "Romaji Input" the first option , and then type "k" followed by "a" to get the same result.
Be sure to use a font that supports Japanese, such as MS Mincho. The IME seems to pick the font automatically. Let me know if this worked for you. Reply if there's something I forgot to say, or if there's something that is unnecessary. FYI: You can have multiple physical keyboards plugged into the same computer. All will work, but you have to manually select the keyboard type in the language bar to get the proper mapping.

The Metro app does the same, but it leaves behind the Error Event in the event viewer as he notes. I have this issue on 2 systems, one a new clean Win10 home laptop, the other an upgrade from Win7 Ultimate. The same issue can be seen on both. I've called support and spent some hours looking at this with them, with no conclusion. A refresh install also did not work. I'm very frustrated and wish I could get a solution.
I'll note that the Chinese IME works without issue on both systems. Also that my wife has another Win 10 laptop where this issue is not seen. Whenever I try to open up the setting for the input method editor it immediately closes. I've tried uninstalling, resetting my laptop, and downloading again but the problem ends up the same.

I'm just guessing here since I've never even started Korean , but I'd think that there'd be a keyboard setting somewhere.
Or it could be that no one in Korea types romaji I played around a little with the Korean keyboard, and I could not find a setting that changes to romaji input. For casual input, perhaps the Soft Keyboard or IME Pad with handwriting recognition might serve without learning the hangul keyboard.

Maybe it is just my poor romanization, but I typed in komapsumnida and didn't get anything helpful on the right side of the screen.
